Validation FAQ
Valid is the validation result shown when a scan succeeds (whether from a link or in the app). ECC or LRP appears as the IC Status in the app after an additional cryptographic originality check that indicates the tag was manufactured by NXP B.V. ECC/LRP is an indicator in IC Status, not a separate validation state.
A replay message means the link you opened was already used. Tap the tag again to generate a fresh link, then open that new link. Replays are common when a link is shared or re-opened later.
For some items, link-only validation is disabled. Please use our official mobile app to scan the tag directly. The app completes the required checks and will show a Valid result with an IC Status that can read ECC or LRP when the originality check passes.
This tag has been disabled by the issuer. Keep the item and contact support with the UID shown on the page. We’ll help you resolve it.
The tag is not registered with our service. Check that you scanned an official tag. If you believe this is an error, contact support and include the UID shown on the page.
The URL is missing or has malformed fields. Tap the tag again and open the new link that appears. Avoid copying or editing validation links by hand.

Link validations do not include the additional originality check, so IC Status shows “Not Evaluated.” Scanning with our mobile app performs that cryptographic originality check and can display ECC or LRP as the IC Status.
The counter increases each time the tag is used to generate a validation link. It is monotonic (only goes up). This behavior helps prove the tag is valid and prevents reuse of older links. The value is shown in both decimal and hex.
The link may have been altered, expired, or opened from a different context than intended. Tap again to generate a new link, open it immediately, and ensure your connection is stable.
Green indicates a successful result: Valid or Verified. Amber indicates an informational state such as Replay or App Required. Red indicates a blocked or invalid state such as UID Disabled or Invalid.
Some NFC Mint tags use the NTAG 424 DNA TagTamper (TT) chip, which includes a physical tamper detection wire. When the product packaging is sealed, this wire forms a closed loop. If the seal is broken — for example, by opening the package — the chip permanently records that the wire has been severed. The Tamper Seal field on the validation page shows whether the seal is intact or has been broken.
"Opened" means the physical tamper wire on the tag has been permanently severed. This typically indicates that the product packaging has been opened at some point. An opened seal does not necessarily mean the product is counterfeit. It may simply have been opened by a previous owner or during quality assurance. However, if you are purchasing a sealed product and the validation page shows "Opened," you should exercise caution.
